Ayyoub Bouaddi drops hint on international future

Ayyoub Bouaddi has addressed ongoing speculation surrounding his international future, as the highly rated Lille OSC midfielder continues to weigh his options between representing Morocco and France at the senior level.

Speaking to French broadcaster TF1 on Sunday, the 18-year-old admitted that no final decision has been made regarding his sporting nationality, despite growing interest from both nations.

“It is a great honour to receive offers from both national teams; it is an advantage to be a dual citizen!” he said.

He further emphasised the need for patience in making such a crucial career choice, adding, “We will not rush; it is a decision that must be made naturally.”

Bouaddi, who has represented France across various youth levels, is also firmly on the radar of Morocco as they continue preparations toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Both football federations are actively monitoring his development, keen to secure his commitment for the future.

For now, the talented midfielder remains undecided, with his next move on the international stage set to be closely watched as he continues his rise in European football.
