Spain international of Moroccan descent Lamine Yamal has committed his future to Barcelona, stressing he wants to stay at the club for the rest of his life.

The 18-year-old gained prominence under the then Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez and has since become a mainstay at the club. Yamal, who recently penned a new deal with the Spanish giants has vowed to end his football career at the club.

“I am at the best club in the world, I enjoy every day and every training session with the team, I am in the best city in the world, and I hope to stay here for the rest of my life.” He said ahead of Barcelona’s Copa del Rey clash against Albacete.

This season, the enterprising winger has racked up 28 appearances for the Catalan giants, scoring 13 goals and delivering 13 assists across competitions.

Since breaking into the Barcelona senior team, Yamal, who also has Equatorial Guinea root has made 134 appearances for the club, scoring 38 goals and delivering 47 assists across competitions for the club.

At the international level, the skillful winger has made 23 appearances for the Spain national team, scoring six goals in the process.
