Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq has expressed his commitment to Valencia, vowing to give his all to help the team succeed.
The forward joins Valencia on loan from Real Sociedad for the remainder of the season and is eager to make an immediate impact.
In his first interview with the club, Sadiq spoke about his motivations and the discussions that led to his move.
“I think it was last month when Valencia first called. They got in touch with me about three weeks ago. Valencia is one of the most important clubs in Spain, and we are in the same situation of growth,” Sadiq revealed.
The 26-year-old striker emphasised his dedication to fulfilling the team’s needs, as outlined by the coach.
“The coach explained to me what they need, and that is for us all to fight. That is my mission—to fight for Valencia,” Sadiq stated.
As a forward, Sadiq recognises the importance of finding the back of the net but also acknowledges that achieving success depends on various factors.
“As a striker, I want to score goals. As for the style of play and having the best possible results, it will depend on many factors,” he added.
Umar Sadiq’s arrival brings renewed hope to Valencia as the team looks to climb the La Liga table.
His goal-scoring ability and determination will be vital assets in their pursuit of success this season.
