German-born forward of Nigerian descent, Karim Adeyemi, has expressed his desire to stay at Borussia Dortmund for a very long time.
The attacker is currently part of the Dortmund squad in the United States of America, participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
During a media round on the sidelines of the Club World Cup, Karim Adeyemi addressed transfer speculations linking him with a move away from Borussia Dortmund.
According to the attacker, he loves Dortmund and is happy to stay.
“I’ve always said that I love this club. I was a fan of this club as a young player, and so was my family,” Adeyemi said as quoted by weltfussball.de .
The youngster continued, “When I think of Marco [Reus], who gave everything for the club and always remained loyal to this club, I think it’s crazy to say that I want to step into his shoes. There are still a few years to go until then, but as I said, I feel good here, and if I were to play for this club forever, I definitely wouldn’t regret it.”
Adeyemi, 23, is linked with potential moves to England and Italy this summer.
