Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has expressed confidence in Liverpool’s chances of winning the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle, emphasizing the impact of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool will take on Newcastle in the final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Speaking on the “Stick to Football” show, Neville highlighted the significance of Salah and Van Dijk to Liverpool’s success, stating that the duo’s quality could make the difference in the final.
“I can’t see Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk not winning on Sunday,” Neville said. “You know when you look at players and think, who is going to take this away from them?”
Salah and Van Dijk have been instrumental in Liverpool’s campaign so far, helping the team maintain their position at the top of the Premier League.
Salah has been in top form this season, making 42 appearances across all competitions. The Egyptian forward has played a total of 3,606 minutes, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists.
