AS FAR forward Reda Selim has admitted he is still working his way back to full fitness and form, despite signs of improvement since joining the Moroccan giants on loan from Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly.

The 27-year-old attacker, who played a key role in FAR’s title-winning campaign in previous seasons, acknowledged he has not yet rediscovered his best level.

“I feel that my performance has improved and evolved, but I have not reached the excellent condition I was in before,” Selim said in a radio interview. “I hope to return to that level soon.”

He praised the support of his coach and teammates, adding: “The coach believes in me, my teammates are trying to help, and I have the motivation to keep developing. That’s the most important thing.”

Selim also expressed gratitude to the club’s loyal supporters.

“The Army fans have waited a long time, and we appreciate their patience. The season is difficult and demanding, but there are positive signs already that give us optimism,” he noted.

AS FAR currently sit third in the Moroccan Botola Pro league table with four points after the opening rounds of the season.
