Amadou Haidara has emerged as a transfer target for Hull City, with the English club monitoring the Lens midfielder ahead of the final days of the summer window.

No formal offer has reached Lens, but Hull are reportedly keeping a close eye on the Mali international’s situation.

Haidara joined Lens last winter after spending nine years in the Red Bull football network, including a lengthy spell at RB Leipzig. Since arriving in northern France, he has made 11 appearances, scoring once and providing one assist. He also helped the club win the Coupe de France and the Trophee des Champions.

The 48-cap international remains under contract with Lens until 2029. However, competition for places in midfield could make his position less secure as the new Ligue 1 campaign approaches. Hull reportedly value his versatility and experience, qualities that could strengthen their squad.

The English club are known to appreciate players with French football experience, which makes Haidara an appealing option. Lens must now decide whether to retain the midfielder or consider a late approach if Hull submit an offer.

With the transfer window nearing its conclusion, Haidara’s future could become one of Lens’ final pieces of summer business.
