Houssine Kharja Signs Two-Year Deal with Saudi Champions Al Nasr
Moroccan international Houssine Kharja has secured a new chapter in his career after months without a club. The experienced midfielder, who parted ways with Qatari side Al Arabi SC earlier this year, has signed a two-year contract with Saudi Arabian champions Al Nasr.
The 31-year-old, and former captain of Morocco’s national team, joins Al Nasr following their recent success in winning the Saudi Professional League. The Riyadh-based club officially announced the signing through the Moroccan Footballers’ Association website.
Kharja, who has spent much of his career in Italy with notable spells at Inter Milan and Fiorentina, will be hoping to bring his experience and leadership to bolster Al Nasr’s ambitions both domestically and in regional competitions.
