Ahmed Diab, President of the Professional Clubs Association, has disclosed the frustration of Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, regarding the standard of Egyptian Premier League matches.
In televised remarks on ON Time Sports, Ahmed Diab stated, “Is Hossam Hassan truly dissatisfied with the performance in Egyptian Premier League matches? I prefer not to discuss technical matters as they fall under the jurisdiction of the coaching staff.
However, generally speaking, the matches have not met the required level in this and the previous rounds, as evidenced by the drawn outcomes of many matches.”
Diab clarified that “Hossam Hassan did not request a reduction in the number of teams in the Premier League,” affirming that all rumors regarding this matter are untrue.
He further explained, “We have not discussed these matters with Hossam Hassan.
Our conversation with him was regarding the Egyptian national team and the competition suspensions.
Certainly, we will have another session with Hossam and Ibrahim to discuss matters concerning Egyptian football.”
