Zamalek defender Hossam Abdel-Magid has yet to receive any official offers to leave the club, his agent, Islam Abdel-Magid, has confirmed.
Speaking to the media, Abdel-Magid stated, “Hossam’s priority is to remain with the White Castle unless a compelling professional opportunity arises abroad.”
Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a Cameroonian refereeing team to officiate Zamalek’s upcoming clash against Zesco United of Zambia in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
The team will be led by referee Abdul Mifer, with Karen Phumo Acheampong and Rodrigo Manneh Mbele serving as assistant referees, and Antoine Max Depadoux as the fourth official.
Zimbabwean Bwanya Tendayi has been named general match observer, while referee supervision will be handled by Alain Price of the Central African Republic.
Zamalek will travel to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to face Zesco United on Sunday, February 8, with kickoff scheduled for 3:00 pm.
