Zamalek vice president Hisham Nasr believes the team has what it takes to fight for every trophy this season, no matter who wears the jersey.
Speaking with confidence on Friday, Nasr expressed full belief in the structure and spirit driving the club forward.
“There is a sense of satisfaction with the experience of John Edward, the sporting director, so the fans are patient to see the results more clearly and achieve the desired goal,” Nasr said during a televised interview.
Zamalek’s past performances against rivals, especially their wins over Al Ahly, were highlighted as proof of the club’s potential. For Nasr, it’s not about big names but unity, commitment, and pride in the badge.
“Zamalek is capable of competing in all tournaments. It previously defeated Al Ahly with the same players, and the team has won more than one tournament. It’s not just the players; there’s a whole system, a spirit, playing in the name of the club and the support of the fans.”
