Hilal El Tayr, who has returned to coach Ittihad Tanger, expressed his joy at returning to what he called his “second home,” emphasizing that coaching the team has been and will remain a source of great pride.
El Tayr stated to Koora, “I didn’t hesitate to respond to the club officials when they asked me to return because I feel that this is my second home.
Here, I had the best season and version of my coaching career last season after a comeback that resonated with everyone.
I miraculously saved the team from relegation.”
He added, “I won’t delve into the details surrounding the return because I haven’t delved into them.
The context does not allow talking about it because the most important thing is to save the club and prepare a training program worthy of what the club’s fans expect from us.
Therefore, we will start next week with a closed camp in Marrakech to address some issues.”
El Tayr concluded, “There is no need for concern, and there is no room for fear.
The club will, God willing, remain among the elite.
I took over the club last season under the same circumstances, and we succeeded in staying.
We have 11 points, so I prepare them to repeat the same comeback, provided that we receive proper support and suitable working conditions.”
