Hilaire Momi Set to Revive Career with Belgian Side Sint-Truiden
After a year without a club and following the bankruptcy of Le Mans, Central African striker Hilaire Momi is ready to make a fresh start in Belgium.
The 24-year-old, once linked with Grenoble Foot 38 in France’s CFA, recently impressed during a trial with Belgian second division side Sint-Truiden. The club’s staff were sufficiently convinced to offer Momi a one-year contract, with an option for an additional year.
Momi, who previously played for Coton Sport de Garoua, now aims to help the “Canaries” secure promotion back to Belgium’s top tier, the Jupiler Pro League.
“It’s the ideal club to relaunch my career,” Momi said. “I have to find my way but I want to dedicate myself 100% to succeed here.”
This move could prove crucial for Momi, who is eager to regain his form and make an impact at Sint-Truiden.
