Algeria midfielder Hicham Boudaoui is being linked with a move from Nice to Galatasaray, with the Turkish champions reportedly tracking the 26-year-old central midfielder ahead of a potential summer reshuffle.
Data from transfer specialists Transfermarkt lists Galatasaray as a possible destination for the Nice player, who currently has a market value of €12.00m. The move is at rumour stage, with the probability of any deal still marked as unclear (“?”), but Boudaoui’s contractual situation at Nice – with no expiry date publicly recorded – has prompted suggestions he could either be available at a reduced fee or edge towards free-agent status in the near future.
Boudaoui has been on Nice’s books since leaving Paradou AC in 2019, progressing from a promising Algerian prospect to a regular in Ligue 1. Primarily a central midfielder and right-footed, he has built a reputation in France’s top flight for his energy and versatility in the middle of the pitch. His value has fluctuated over time, but the rise to a peak of €15.00m in mid-2025 before settling at €12.00m by December 2025 underlines how he remains a significant asset in the market.
The Algerian, born in Béchar on 23 September 1999 and standing at 1.75m, has already experienced a steady climb in his career, moving from Paradou AC’s youth ranks to the senior side and then into Ligue 1 with Nice. He represents Algeria at international level and is listed with OGC Nice as his national-team club base.
Recent performances in Ligue 1 have kept him on the radar of clubs across Europe, although specific match data in the current rumour report is not detailed. Even so, Galatasaray’s interest suggests they see him as a player capable of adapting from France’s high-intensity midfield battles to the tactical demands of the Süper Lig.
Should the transfer materialise, a switch to Istanbul could mark a pivotal chapter in Boudaoui’s career, offering a new platform to enhance his reputation on the European stage and potentially elevate his standing within Algerian football.
