Former head coach of the German national team, Joachim Löw, has spoken highly of Spanish forward of Ghanaian descent, Nico Williams.
According to him, the Athletic Club striker is a game-changer and will be a good reinforcement for Bayern Munich.
“Absolutely, because he is a game changer due to his skills,” the 65-year-old told BILD.
Nico Williams in the 2024/25 football season scored five goals and provided five assists after making 29 appearances in La Liga.
In the Europa League, the forward scored five goals and provided two assists after making 13 appearances.
The 22-year-old is a transfer target of several top clubs in Europe heading into the summer transfer window.
The youngster has a €60 million release clause and will not be easy to poach from Athletic Club.
Despite his value, Nico Williams is considered a relatively cheap option compared to other top stars like Milan’s Rafael Leao.
Bayern Munich are strongly interested in signing the Spanish-Ghanaian, especially knowing that Leroy Sane could leave the club this summer.
The club, however, has yet to make contact with Athletic Club.
