Hervé Renard, who was recently linked to the Moroccan national team, might be heading to the Middle East next season.
After spending many years coaching African national teams, the French tactician returned to France to guide Sochaux in Ligue 1. However, his stint at Sochaux might be short-lived.
Not only has Renard caught the attention of Moroccan football authorities for the Atlas Lions coaching position, but he’s also drawing interest from the Persian Gulf region.
According to several Saudi sources, Renard is in advanced talks with Al-Nasr Riyadh, who are seeking a successor to Uruguayan manager Daniel Carreno. While some media outlets are reporting that an agreement has been reached, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
