Hervé Renard has officially left his position as the coach of Zambia and will be taking over as the head coach of Sochaux. He expressed his gratitude to Kalusha Bwalya, president of the FAZ (Football Association of Zambia), for the opportunity to work with him and the successes they achieved together. Renard, who led Zambia to victory in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, emphasized that he would never forget his time with the Chipolopolo.
