Togo’s first vice-president of the Football Federation, Hervé Piza, is reportedly involved in an altercation following the Eperviers’ match against Tunisia. Piza allegedly addressed the president, Gabriel Améyi, in a malicious manner regarding his obsession with the refereeing decisions made by Daniel Bennett. As a result, CAF (Confederation of African Football) has taken disciplinary action against Piza. He has had his accreditation withdrawn for the competition and is excluded from any activities related to CAN 2013. Gabriel Améyi expressed surprise at the decision, claiming he was not aware of any such actions taken against Piza.
