Heder Pina: Cape VerdePortuguese defender joins Imortal on free transfer from Esp. Lagos
Cape VerdePortuguese defender Heder Pina has joined Imortal from Esp. Lagos on a free transfer, signing a deal with the club until 30 June 2027.
The 23-year-old, who operates across the back line, moves within the Portuguese lower leagues after leaving Esp. Lagos, the side he rejoined in January 2025. His switch to Imortal was completed on 10 July 2026 and gives the Albufeira-based club an additional defensive option ahead of the new campaign.
Pina already has experience of national cup competition, having featured in the Taca de Portugal, where he registered an appearance totalling 16 minutes. Imortal will look to draw on that exposure as they reshape their squad for the coming season.
Born on 15 December 2002, Pina holds both Cape Verdean and Portuguese nationality. He has built his career entirely in Portugal to date, reflecting a steady rise through regional clubs before this latest move.
The defender has been on the move frequently in recent seasons. He first joined Esp. Lagos in 2023 from Odiaxere, later switching to Sertanense in the summer of 2024. After six months he returned to Esp. Lagos at the start of 2025, again on a free transfer, before now making the step to Imortal.
Pinas contract with Imortal runs through the 2026-27 season, confirming his status as a permanent addition to the clubs defensive ranks.
