‘He pushes us’ – Jonathan Tah reveals what makes Harry Kane special at Bayern Munich

German defender of Ivorian descent, Jonathan Tah, has disclosed that English striker Harry Kane is special in the Bayern Munich set-up beyond the goals he scores for the side.

Bayern Munich have made an impressive start to the season, with Harry Kane emerging as the driving force behind Vincent Kompany’s side.

The English striker has been in outstanding form, scoring in virtually every game and delivering world-class performances across all competitions.

Before Bayern’s UEFA Champions League clash against Club Brugge on Wednesday night, defender Jonathan Tah couldn’t hold back his admiration for Kane’s influence on the team, highlighting not only his goalscoring prowess but also his leadership and work ethic.

“Of course, he scores goals; he does them outstandingly. But for me personally: He pushes us totally, we press man to man,” Tah said,

He went on to stress that Kane’s commitment off the ball inspires the entire squad:

“His man runs deep, and he runs with him. You can’t teach that. When someone like Harry, who scores most of our goals, does something like that, it’s a huge boost.”

Kane’s willingness to contribute defensively, in addition to his attacking quality, has made him a standout figure in Bayern’s squad.

Early in the season, but the former Spurs captain is already a candidate for the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.
