Hazem Mastouri joins Espérance de Tunis on three-year deal
Tunisian striker Hazem Mastouri has joined Espérance de Tunis on a three-year contract from Russian club FC Dynamo Makhachkala.
The 27-year-old forward returns to Tunisia after spending the previous spell of his career in Russia, where he played for Dynamo Makhachkala.
Mastouri has now committed his future to Espérance, one of Tunisia’s most successful clubs, as the side strengthens its attacking options ahead of the new season.
The move represents a return to Tunisian football for Mastouri, who will be expected to provide goals and experience as Espérance compete on both the domestic and continental fronts.
His arrival adds further depth to an Espérance squad with ambitions of challenging for major honours in Tunisia and making a strong impact in African competition.
Mastouri will now begin preparations with his new team as he looks to establish himself as a key figure in the Espérance attack.
