Hatem Ben Arfa’s Difficulties at Newcastle and Interest from AC Milan
Ben Arfa had a disappointing season at Newcastle and is currently at odds with coach Alan Pardew. He was not invited to the club’s pre-season training camp, and Newcastle are clearly trying to push him out.
However, there is a silver lining for Ben Arfa. According to The Chronicle, AC Milan approached him on Tuesday. The Italian club, under new coach Filippo Inzaghi, is looking for a left-footed attacking player to fit into their system (likely a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation).
Joel Campbell from Arsenal was Milan’s first choice, but Arsenal’s demands were too high, so Milan is now considering Ben Arfa as an alternative.
