Hassania Agadir coach Hilal Al-Tayir reveals relegation survival plan

Hassania Agadir coach Hilal Al-Tayir has revealed roadmap for his outfits remaining matches of the season, stressing that every game will be treated like a playoff as the club battles to secure its place in the Moroccan Botola Pro.

With the season entering its decisive phase, the Hassania Agadir manager is determined to steer the Souss-based club away from danger and avoid any late relegation complications.

Speaking about the team’s objectives, Al-Tayir emphasized that there is no room for complacency as the countdown to the end of the campaign continues.

The coach explained that his side’s focus is on collecting as many points as possible from the remaining fixtures to guarantee survival without relying on results elsewhere.

“We will approach the upcoming matches as if they were playoffs,” Al-Tayir said. “Our aim is to collect the maximum number of points and secure our place in the league without having to depend on complicated calculations.”

The tactician also highlighted the progress made by the team since his arrival, noting that the players have gradually adapted to his tactical ideas and developed a stronger understanding on the pitch.

According to Al-Tayir, the improvement in performances has been evident in recent weeks, with the squad beginning to show the qualities and identity he has been working to establish.

“We have a good team and talented players, and we needed some time to achieve harmony and fully grasp the ideas we want to implement and the style we will adopt,” he explained.

“The level has improved in recent matches, as witnessed by all observers.”

The coach believes the squad has developed a stronger mentality and character, qualities he considers crucial in the battle to avoid relegation.

“The team has developed a strong character, and this makes us optimistic about achieving our goals in the upcoming matches,” he added.

“We must all stand behind our team, which deserves a better position in the league.”

Al-Tayir also provided an update on the squad ahead of the team’s next fixture against Fath Union Sport, confirming that the majority of his players are available for selection.

The only absentee will be Jalal Tashatash, who is suspended after accumulating four yellow cards.

“The team is at full strength, with only one absence, which is Jalal Tashatash due to accumulating four yellow cards,” he said.

Hassania Agadir currently occupy 12th place in the Botola Pro standings with 20 points and remain eager to create more distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Their upcoming home clash against Fath Union Sport on Thursday is therefore expected to be a pivotal encounter as the Souss outfit look to take another significant step towards securing their top-flight status.

With confidence growing and survival still firmly in their own hands, Al-Tayir is backing his players to rise to the challenge and finish the season strongly.
