Denmark-Egypt winger Hassan Elsayed has left Swedish side IFK Trelleborg and is now a free agent after his contract with the club came to an end.

The 25-year-old left winger, who is right-footed and stands at 1.82m, departs the Swedish outfit having joined them earlier in 2026 from Danish club Ishøj IF on a free transfer. His latest move, recorded on 15 July 2026, sees him officially without a club as he assesses the next step in his career.

Elsayed’s spell at IFK Trelleborg included involvement in the Svenska Cupen, where he featured in the 2026–27 edition of the competition. He made one appearance in the cup, playing 45 minutes as part of the starting XI, underlining his role as an attacking option on the left flank during his short stay in Sweden.

Before moving to Trelleborg, Elsayed had a series of stints in Danish football. He rejoined Ishøj IF from Holbæk B&I in January 2026, having initially switched to Holbæk the previous summer, all on free transfers. The winger had earlier played for FA 2000, whom he joined in 2023 after a spell without a club.

Elsayed came through the youth system at B.93 after an early spell with FCK’s youth ranks, progressing from B.93’s youth and U19 teams into their senior side in 2020 before leaving the Copenhagen club in 2022.

The dual-national winger is now unattached following the expiry of his deal with IFK Trelleborg on 15 July 2026.
