Harry Kane sets new Bundesliga record with 101st goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane became the fastest player to score 100 goals in the Bundesliga after reaching the milestone in Bayern Munich’s match against Union Berlin.

The England international scored his 100th Bundesliga goal from the penalty spot in the 39th minute, making it Bayern’s second goal of the game during the fourth round of the competition.

Kane then added Bayern’s fourth goal in the second half, heading in a cross from Michael Olise in the 54th minute. That took his Bundesliga tally to 101 goals.

The Bayern Munich striker achieved the mark in 98 appearances, breaking the previous record held by Dieter Muller, who needed 129 matches to score 100 Bundesliga goals.

Kane’s goals have come across four seasons. He scored 36 in 2023-2024, followed by 26 in 2024-2025 and another 36 in 2025-2026. He has scored three goals so far in 2026-2027.

Bayern Munich are provisionally top of the Bundesliga with 10 points. They were crowned Bundesliga champions last season.
