Harry Kane sets Bundesliga record as Bayern Munich thrash Union Berlin 7-0

Bayern Munich moved temporarily top of the Bundesliga after sweeping aside Union Berlin 7-0 on matchday four, with Harry Kane making history by reaching 101 league goals for the club.

Michael Olise, Kane, Ismael Saibari and Jamal Musiala were the scorers for Bayern Munich in a dominant victory that left Union Berlin with just one point from their opening four matches.

Kane scored twice, including Bayern’s second goal from the penalty spot in the 39th minute. That strike was his 100th Bundesliga goal, while his overall tally for Bayern Munich reached 101.

The England forward became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to score 100 goals, achieving the milestone in 98 appearances.

The previous record belonged to Dieter Muller, who needed 129 matches to reach 100 Bundesliga goals.
