Bayern Munich are in the final stages of negotiations with England captain Harry Kane over an extension that would keep him at the club until 2029.
The German champions are seeking to extend Kane’s current agreement, which runs until the summer of 2027, by a further two years.
According to exclusive information from Sky Sport Germany, discussions between the club and the 33-year-old striker have made significant progress and are now focused on the final details of the proposed contract.
Negotiations are proceeding according to plan, with both parties confident that an agreement can be completed successfully. However, no final contract has yet been signed and no date has been set for the formal conclusion of the deal.
Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for approximately 100 million euros. Since moving to Germany, he has scored 152 goals and provided 34 assists in 154 official appearances for the club.
The forward has helped Bayern Munich win two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup and two German Super Cups. He has also finished as the Bundesliga’s leading scorer in each of the three seasons since his arrival.
A new contract would extend Kane’s stay in Munich beyond the agreement he signed when he left Tottenham Hotspur, with the final terms still being settled by the two sides.
