Flick dismissed the notion that Yamal’s recent goal against Benfica marked a turning point in his development, emphasizing the teenager’s consistency. “I see it the same as always. He has always been a player with confidence in the ball. Marking, of course, helps a lot. He also gave assistance to the first goal. He is playing very well. Your performance is very good. I don’t think the goal against Benfica has changed anything.”
