Hamza Haoudi: Italian-Moroccan midfielder joins Foggia on free transfer

Italian-Moroccan midfielder Hamza Haoudi has joined Foggia from Pro Vercelli on a free transfer, completing his move to the Serie C club on 2 August 2026.

The 25-year-old central midfielder arrives after spending part of the 2025-26 season with Pro Vercelli. Haoudi joined the club in November 2025 after a period without a club, having previously left SPAL in July of the same year.

Haoudi began his senior career with Livorno after progressing through the club’s youth system. He made the move from Livorno to Frosinone in July 2021 on a free transfer, before gaining further experience through loan spells at Turris and Pro Vercelli.

His time with Pro Vercelli included two separate spells. He first joined the club on loan from Frosinone in September 2023, returning to Frosinone at the end of the 2023-24 campaign. Haoudi then returned to Pro Vercelli later in his career before making the move permanent in sporting terms with his subsequent free transfer to Foggia.

Across his career in Serie C, Haoudi has recorded 61 appearances, eight goals and eight assists in one Serie C group, alongside a further 30 appearances, one goal and four assists in another. He has also appeared in Serie B and the Italian Cup, where he scored once in two appearances.

The right-footed midfielder was born in Lucca and stands 1.78 metres tall. His record also includes seven goals in 20 Primavera 2 appearances, reflecting his earlier development in Italian football’s youth and reserve competitions.

Haoudi’s career has included spells with Livorno, Frosinone, Turris, Pro Vercelli and SPAL before his latest move. He now switches from Pro Vercelli’s Serie C – A competition to Foggia’s Serie C – C group.

Foggia have completed the signing of Hamza Haoudi from Pro Vercelli as a free transfer.
