Hamza Abdelkarim included in Barcelona squad for Sevilla trip

Hamza Abdelkarim has been named in the Barcelona squad for Saturday’s La Liga meeting with Sevilla, giving the young forward the chance to feature in the seventh round of the season.

The Catalan side travel to face Sevilla at 22:00 at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, the Andalusian club’s home stadium.

Barcelona are top of La Liga with 18 points after winning all six of their league matches so far. Sevilla are fifth on 13 points.

Barcelona have made one change to their squad because of an injury to Joan Garcia. The goalkeeper has been replaced by Iker Rodriguez, who plays for the club’s youth team.

Roony Bardghji and Frenkie de Jong remain absent because of injuries that have kept them out since the start of the season.
