Hamed Toure: Ivory Coast defender joins Al-Nasiriyah FC from Al-Ahli Club

Ivorian centre-back Hamed Toure has joined Iraqi club Al-Nasiriyah FC from Al-Ahli Club, completing his move on 3 August 2026.

The 30-year-old defender arrives after one season with Al-Ahli, whom he joined from fellow Iraqi side Naft Al-Basra in September 2025. Toure’s latest transfer continues a career spent largely in Middle Eastern and North African football, with Al-Nasiriyah becoming his latest club.

Standing at 1.90m, Toure has played primarily as a centre-back. He made 35 appearances in the Iraq Stars League and featured twice in the AFC Cup qualifiers, recording 3,058 minutes in the league and 180 minutes in continental competition.

His previous spell with Naft Al-Basra began in August 2024, when he joined the club after a period without a team. He had previously been based in Saudi Arabia, where he represented NEOM SC and Al-Jalil, while also spending time with Al-Suqoor.

Toure began his senior career with Ivorian club Africa Sports before moving to Morocco’s KACM Marrakech in January 2015. He then continued his career in Jordan with Al-Hussein SC, followed by a move to Oman’s Al-Nasr and Sur SC.

The defender returned to Jordan with Al-Jalil in 2020 before switching to Al-Suqoor two years later. His move to NEOM SC followed in 2023, after which he was without a club until joining Naft Al-Basra.

Born in Abidjan on 18 December 1995, Toure holds Ivorian nationality. His arrival gives Al-Nasiriyah an experienced defensive option with a career that includes regular appearances in Iraq’s top flight and exposure to AFC competition.

Toure’s transfer from Al-Ahli to Al-Nasiriyah FC was completed on 3 August 2026.
