Hamada El-Qallawy appointed referee for Zamalek’s Egyptian Premier League meeting with Petrol Asyut

The Egyptian Football Association has appointed Hamada El-Qallawy to referee Zamalek’s match against Petrol Asyut on Tuesday.

The Egyptian Premier League fixture will be played at Borg El Arab Stadium and is the seventh round of the competition.

Shahenda El Maghraby has been named as the fourth official, while Mohamed El-Shennawy will oversee the video assistant referee system, assisted by Hosni Sultan.

The appointment will give El-Qallawy his first Egyptian Premier League match of the season. He was previously involved in the Under-20 North Africa tournament, which was held in Egypt.

It will also be the first time El-Qallawy has officiated a Zamalek match during the current campaign. His most recent match involving the club came last season, when he took charge of Zamalek’s game against Haras El Hodoud.

Zamalek are currently third in the Egyptian Premier League table with 13 points, five points behind leaders Pyramids.
