Hakim Ziyech Begins Training Ahead of Wydad Season

Hakim Ziyech has started preparations for the new season by undergoing individual training at Wydad Casablanca’s Mohammed Benjelloun complex as he works towards reaching full fitness before the campaign begins.

The Morocco international has been attending daily sessions at the club’s training centre while waiting for the return of collective training.

Wydad have not yet announced the date for the resumption of team training. The club is expected to reveal details after its general assembly, which is scheduled for 21 July.

Ziyech’s individual preparations come as Wydad look ahead to a new season following a difficult previous campaign.

The Casablanca club ended last season in fifth place in the Botola standings with 43 points.

The team’s final position was affected by a series of disappointing results, particularly during the closing stages of the season.

A number of poor performances during that period had a significant impact on Wydad’s final league ranking.

The club will now focus on rebuilding ahead of the new campaign, with Ziyech among the players preparing for the challenges ahead.

The midfielder is continuing his work away from the group while the club finalises plans for the start of collective training. His current programme is aimed at ensuring he is physically ready when the full squad returns.

Wydad’s supporters will be following developments closely as the club prepares for a fresh start after an underwhelming season.

The return to group sessions will mark the next stage of preparations as the team begins work ahead of the new campaign.

For now, Ziyech remains focused on his individual schedule at the Mohammed Benjelloun complex, where he is working to regain his best physical condition before joining his teammates for collective training.
