Hakim Medane, the Sports Director of JS Kabylie, took to the club’s official website this evening to address various rumors surrounding the team.
He clarified that his statement was not an update on recent events but rather a response to ongoing speculation.
Reflecting on the team’s performance, Medane acknowledged both achievements and setbacks. “We did some good things, some not so much,” he said, citing disappointing home losses to MC Alger and CS Constantine. Despite this, he highlighted key victories, including a win in Algiers and Biskra. “We could do better, but we are satisfied; it could have been worse,” Medane added, emphasizing the team’s need for improvement.
Addressing player rumors, Medane firmly stated that no player had requested a transfer. “Everything that is said is false,” he remarked. On the club’s transfer strategy, he revealed that JS Kabylie had contacted Yousri Bouzouk, though the player ultimately chose to play in Saudi Arabia. Medane also confirmed that future recruitment would focus solely on strengthening the team’s core, underscoring his confidence for the second half of the season.
