Hafia FC host Mauritania’s AS Douanes on Saturday, 19 September, with a place in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at stake.
The second leg of their first-round tie will be played at Conakry’s Stade du 28-Septembre, having been rescheduled from 11 September after a prolonged wait and complications over the fixture’s arrangements. Kick-off is set for 16:00 GMT.
The teams drew 2-2 in an entertaining first leg in Nouakchott, leaving the tie finely balanced. Hafia FC will be looking to use home advantage to secure progress, while AS Douanes must produce a strong performance in Conakry to keep their continental campaign alive.
The winners will face Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in the competition’s second preliminary round. With the tie level after the opening match, 90 minutes will determine which side advances to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
