Since joining La Gantoise from Zulte Waregem this winter, the Central African striker has been the main force behind the team’s success. In fifteen matches, he scored eleven goals, including three hat-tricks. With such impressive performance, he has naturally attracted attention from several foreign clubs.
Despite the interest, the player, who was trained at PSG, seems inclined to stay with La Gantoise for another season before considering a move abroad. “I have no regrets about joining La Gantoise. I’ve already learned a lot here. While we won’t be competing in Europe next season, we aim to finish in the top 6. It will be a year of redemption for all of us. Right now, I’m focused on the upcoming season with my club, and we’ll see what happens after that,” said Habib Habibou.
