As Guinea prepares for its upcoming World Cup qualifier against Algeria, coach Kaba Diawara has set his sights on ambitious goals, aiming to secure victories on multiple fronts.

Despite Algeria’s status as the favored team in the upcoming World Cup qualifier, Diawara remains determined to lead Guinea to success, stating his desire to “fulfill (his) contract 100%.”

This determination is underscored by Guinea’s coach, who is currently tasked with leading both the senior national team and the Under-23 side.

In addition to the World Cup qualifiers, Diawara faces the challenge of guiding Guinea’s U23 team to qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

With a crucial match against the winner of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, scheduled for May 9 in Clairefontaine, France, Diawara emphasizes the importance of securing victory to bolster Guinea’s chances of Olympic qualification.

Reflecting on Guinea’s progress in recent years, Diawara stresses the importance of investing in youth development and building a strong foundation for future success.

Despite the pressure and challenges ahead, he remains confident in his team’s abilities and the potential for Guinea to achieve its objectives.

With Guinea’s focus on both the Paris Olympics and the World Cup qualifiers, Diawara’s ambitious vision sets the stage for an exciting and challenging journey ahead.

As Guinea prepares to face off against Algeria and navigate the path to Olympic qualification, the team’s determination and resolve will be put to the test, with eyes set firmly on achieving success on the international stage.
