Guinean winger Mamadou Cellou switches to Puente Genil FC on loan
Guinean right winger Mamadou Cellou has joined Puente Genil FC from Lorca Deportiva on loan, strengthening the Spanish club’s attacking options for the 2026-27 season.
The 24-year-old’s move was completed on 18 August 2026 and runs until 30 June 2027, when he is scheduled to return to Lorca Deportiva. Cellou will remain in Spain as he switches from Segunda Federacion Group III to Group IV.
Cellou plays predominantly on the right wing and is right-footed. Born in Conakry on 5 January 2002, he has spent his senior career in the Spanish lower divisions after beginning his development with Lorca Deportiva’s under-19 side.
He joined Lorca Deportiva from CD Alcoyano on 1 July 2026 after becoming a free agent. Cellou had previously spent the 2024-25 campaign with Alcoyano, having moved there from FC Cartagena B on a free transfer in July 2024.
His career record includes 26 appearances and two goals in Segunda Federacion Group V, as well as 17 appearances, three goals and one assist in Group IV. He has also featured in the Copa del Rey, LaLiga2 and the promotion play-offs for Segunda Federacion.
Cellou’s earlier experience includes a loan spell with Aguilas FC during the 2021-22 season, before he returned to Lorca Deportiva. He later moved to FC Cartagena B in July 2023, continuing a career spent largely within Spain’s professional and semi-professional divisions.
Puente Genil FC have now secured Cellou’s services for the 2026-27 campaign, with the loan agreement concluding on 30 June 2027.
