In-form Guinean striker, Serhou Guirassy, will not be moving to Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been a standout performer for the German club this season, scoring 15 goals in the Bundesliga campaign. Guirassy recently dominated the headlines after scoring a hat-trick to help Dortmund beat Barcelona in the Champions League.
Guirassy, who joined Dortmund for a lower transfer fee after the club exploited a clause in his contract with his former club, Stuttgart. The enterprising forward had an 18 million euros release clause, which Dortmund triggered to secure his services until 2028.
Similarly, Dortmund could also lose the highly-profiled attacker for a lower transfer fee, considering the release clause stipulated in his contract.
The Guinea international has a €70 million release clause, which could be activated after the 2025 Club World Cup by interested clubs.
Although his release clause contains an option that will make a move to Real Madrid very easy, Los Blancos are not considering signing the forward.
Reports indicate that it is because the Spanish giants are only looking at investing in youth.
With Serhou Guirassy being almost 30 years old, Real Madrid will not make a move to secure his services.
