Guinean youngster, Ilaix Moriba, wants Ansu Fati to join him at Spanish La Liga club Celta Vigo next season.
The 22-year-old former FC Barcelona midfielder is currently playing for Celta Vigo on loan from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
In a recent encounter on Instagram, Ilaix Moriba urged Ansu Fati to join him, indicating that he is open to a permanent switch to the La Liga outfit from Leipzig.
Ansu Fati, who still has two years remaining on his contract, has endured a tough spell at the Catalan club following a significant dip in form.
Once heralded as Barcelona’s next big star, the young forward has struggled to recapture his spark, leaving the club seemingly ready to move on.
Despite still wearing the iconic number 10 shirt, Fati has managed only nine appearances this season and is yet to find the back of the net since 2023.
Although he is a transfer target of clubs in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, Ansu Fati wants to stay in Europe to get his career back on track.
The 22-year-old believes he has the quality to turn things around and will sign for an European club in the summer window.
It is unclear if he is open to joining Celta Vigo or not.
