Guinean striker, Serhou Guirassy is full of confidence ahead of the Uefa Champions League encounter between Borussia Dortmund and Lille on Wednesday night.
The French outfit will host the team from Germany later tonight in the second leg meeting of their Round 16 tie in the competition.
Returning to France, where he was born and formerly played for Lille, Serhou Guirassy is upbeat and looking forward to a good game.
In a pre-match interview, he admonished his teammates to take past criticism in good faith and put up their best performance
“It’s obviously a special feeling, even though it’s been nine or ten years since I played here. I’m still happy,” Serhou Guirassy said.
He continued, “We have to accept the criticism; that’s part of it. Ultimately, we have to learn from it and get back to the positive. Generally, the mood is good, but everyone has to include themselves in the criticism.”
Both teams head into the second leg tonight knowing that the tie is level after the 1-1 stalemate from the first leg.
Serhou Guirassy and his Dortmund teammates will need to win to advance to the quarter-finals of the Uefa Champions League.
