Guinea winger Mouhamed Soumah joins Senegal’s Ouakam in free-agent move

Guinea winger Mouhamed Soumah has joined Senegalese club Ouakam on a free transfer, completing a move that takes the 22-year-old back to the country where he began his senior career.

Soumah, who plays on the left wing and prefers his right foot, joined Ouakam on 14 August 2026. He was without a club after leaving Bourj FC earlier in the year, having spent the first half of the 2025-26 season with the Lebanese side.

The attacker made 10 appearances in the Lebanese Premier League during that campaign, playing 707 minutes. His move to Bourj followed a spell with AJEL Rufisque, whom he joined in September 2025.

Soumah’s return to Senegal places him back in the country’s Ligue 1, a competition in which Ouakam compete. He previously played for AJEL Rufisque after leaving Diambars FC in September 2024, while his earlier senior football came with Sacre-Cur.

The forward began his recorded club career with Sacre-Cur’s under-20 side in the 2022-23 season before moving into the senior team. His route since then has taken him through several clubs in Senegal and Lebanon, with Ouakam now becoming his latest destination.

Standing 1.86m tall, Soumah is listed primarily as a left winger and represents Guinea internationally at national-club level. He joins Ouakam with a market value of €50,000.

The transfer history records Soumah’s departure from Bourj FC on 1 January 2026, followed by his arrival at Ouakam after a period without a club. No contract expiry date has been disclosed for his new agreement.

Soumah has therefore completed a free transfer to Ouakam and is now part of the club’s squad for the 2026-27 season.
