Guinea teenager Almamy Soumah makes Como U20 switch
Guinea centre-back Almamy Soumah has joined Como U20 from Tau on a free transfer, moving into Italy’s Primavera 1 competition after a season in Serie D-E.
The 19-year-old defender made 31 appearances for Tau during the 2025-26 campaign and provided one assist. He also featured in the Viareggio Cup, making four appearances and registering another assist, while adding games in the Coppa Serie D and the Serie D play-offs.
Soumah joined Tau in August 2025 after a spell without a club. His move to Como represents a step from Italy’s senior amateur leagues into the development structure of a club competing in Primavera 1.
Standing at 1.89m, Soumah is a left-footed central defender. His profile gives Como U20 another option in the centre of defence as the club builds its squad for the new season.
The transfer brings the Guinean to a club based in Italy, where he has continued his footballing career since joining Tau. His market value is listed at €100,000, while the move itself did not involve a transfer fee.
Soumah’s statistical record at Tau included 2,575 minutes in Serie D-E, alongside 343 minutes in the Viareggio Cup, 147 minutes in the Coppa Serie D and 90 minutes in the play-offs. Those appearances form the main senior experience he takes into his new role with Como’s under-20 side.
He now joins a Como U20 team competing in Primavera 1, Italy’s top-level under-20 league, after completing his departure from Tau. The move was registered on 21 August 2026.
