Guinea star Serhou Guirassy on the wishlist of Barcelona

Guinea international Serhou Guirassy has emerged as a transfer target for Spanish giants FC Barcelona ahead of the winter transfer window.

The Catalan giants are seriously looking for a replacement for Polish star Robert Lewandowski, who is nearing retirement, with Guirassy popping up on Barcelona’s wishlist.

According to reports, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is a huge admirer of the Borussia Dortmund star and could consider his acquisition in forthcoming transfer windows.

Guirassy’s contract with Borussia Dortmund includes a €65 million release clause, which, according to the source, is valid only for a select few clubs, including Barcelona.

Currently, the Spanish giants are carefully examining all the details for a possible signing of the Guinea international.

Guirassy moved to Borussia Dortmund last summer from Stuttgart for €18 million. Since then, the forward has played 58 matches, scoring 44 goals and providing 12 assists, attracting the interest of many top European clubs.

His current contract with Borussia Dortmund is expected to elapse in the summer of 2028.
