Guinea midfielder Alseny Soumah joins Jong KAA Gent for €150,000

Alseny Soumah has joined Jong KAA Gent from Academie Guinee for €150,000, with the Guinea midfielder signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2031.

Soumah, 18, completed the move on 3 August 2026 and will continue his career in Belgium with Jong KAA Gent, who compete in the Challenger Pro League. He plays primarily as a defensive midfielder.

The transfer takes Soumah from Academie Guinee to a club competing in Belgium’s professional second tier. Born on 3 April 2008, he is one of the youngest players to move into the Belgian league during the current transfer period.

Jong KAA Gent have secured Soumah’s services through the end of the 2030-31 season, completing the €150,000 transfer from the Guinean academy.
