Guinea forward Mohamed Bayo set to join Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Fayha on loan
Guinea international Mohammed Bayo is on the verge of joining Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Fayha in the current transfer window.
Following an agreement between Lille and Al-Fayha, the 27-year-old forward is expected to seal a move to the Asian country in the coming days.
Bayo is joining the Saudi Pro League outfit on season-long loan and is expected to play a huge role for the club as they aim to make a meaningful impact in the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
In 2024-25, he featured in 12 Ligue 1 games for Lille, finding the back of the net on two occasions.
The 27-year-old initially joined Les Nordistes in July 2023 on a five-year deal, spending a chunk of his time on loan at other clubs.
Since his arrival, the forward has had loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Clermont Foot, and Le Havre. During the 2023-24 campaign, he scored five times in Ligue 1 while on loan at Le Havre AC in 23 appearances.
Meanwhile, his contract with Lille is expected to elapse in the summer of 2027. He will return to the French club at the end of the loan deal.
