Guinea-Bissau forward, Franculino Djú, has solidified his future with Danish club FC Midtjylland, signing a contract extension that keeps him at the club until 2029.

The 20-year-old striker’s new five-year deal underscores the club’s faith in his abilities and long-term potential.

FC Midtjylland announced the agreement through an official statement on their website and social media platforms, highlighting Djú’s importance to their ambitions.

Expressing his excitement after putting pen to paper, Djú shared his vision for personal growth and team success.

“This is the right path in my career. The club has shown me a lot of confidence, and I am in a good environment where I can continue to develop as a player. FC Midtjylland has a fantastic structure as a club and is an interesting place for a young player. In recent years, I have added several facets to my game and feel ready to show my full potential,” he said.

Djú further emphasised his commitment to steady progress, both individually and as part of the team:

“I want to continue to grow as a footballer. If I do that, we will also achieve our goals as a team. It is important for me to always keep going, step by step, before at some point I am ready to take on the next challenge in my career,” the striker noted.
