Guinea-Bissau rooted defender Dayot Upamecano (26) was absent from France training on Tuesday due to injury.
Upamecano, who plies his trade for Bayern Munich earned a slot in Didier Dechamps squad for the double-header against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals.
Unfortunately, the enterprising defender could not train with the France team on Tuesday due to a minor injury. He is expected to resume training on Wednesday as the team gear up for the two crucial games.
On Tuesday, only 21 players trained due to the absence of Upamecano and Theo Hernandez.
The Bayern Munich defender is expected to be available for the game against Croatia slated for Thursday.
The Les Bleus face Croatia in the first leg of their Nations League quarter-final on Thursday before a return leg in Paris on Sunday.
The 26-year-old has made 28 appearances for France since making his debut in September 2020, scoring two goals across the period.
