AS Monaco have completed the acquisition of Spanish international of Guinea-Bissau descent Ansu Fati in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old attacker joins the French Ligue 1 outfit on a season-long loan from Spanish giants Barcelona, with an option to buy for €11m.
Meanwhile, the Catalan club are expected to contribute half of his wages until the end of his loan spell in France.
He becomes the third signing of Monaco this summer following the arrival of Englishman Eric Dier and Paul Pogba.
Fati, who arrived in France last Thursday has finally signed on the dotted lines for the Principality club and is expected to play a huge role for the club.
The move comes after weeks of intense discussions between Monaco and Barcelona over the modalities of the deal.
Fati is looking forward to get his career back on track after injuries restricted the Spaniard’s game time in recent seasons.
