Guela Doue set to leave Strasbourg as European contenders weigh summer move

Guela Doue is expected to leave Strasbourg before the end of the summer transfer window after rejecting the prospect of taking on a reserve role at Paris St-Germain.

The 23-year-old Cote d’Ivoire international is determined to continue his development and wants to join a club where he can be assured of regular playing time. Rather than accept a position as a second-choice player in Paris, the right-back has chosen to prioritise a project offering him a more prominent role.

That decision has intensified interest from leading European clubs, with Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund currently at the front of the queue for his signature. Both clubs are considering Doue as a player who could occupy an important place within their squads.
